In the period from 16th-18th March 2016 in Zadar, Croatia was held 17th international quality conference organized by the Croatian Society of Quality Managers titled QUALITY MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

At this conference the past few years Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia actively participated, so also this year the Association gave its contribution to this conference.

Within the conference there was a meeting of the Steering Committee  of Quality Initiative of the countries of Middle and South-Eastern Europe, launched by the President of the Association, Prof.  Zoran Punoševac PhD and president of  the Croatian Society for Quality managers sc Miroslav Drljača PhD.

On the first day of the conference President HDMK sc Miroslav Drljača PhD handed awards and acknowledgments to individuals and organizations regarding the 20th anniversary HDMK. Among organizations Plaque winners as the highest recognition awarded by the HDMK found and Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia as well as Prof. Zoran Punoševac PhD as President of the Association in the category of individuals for significant contribution to the development activities of the Croatian Society for quality managers and quality at all.

On the second day of the conference at the opening ceremony, Prof. Zoran Punoševac PhD welcomed all present participants of the conference on behalf of the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia.
