In the period from 9th-11th of March, 2016 at  the Serbian Chamber of Commerce held the traditional event Week of Quality, organized by the Foundation for Quality Culture and Excellence. On this occasion, awards were given to organizations and individuals who, through their active participation in the activities FQCE contributed to the work of this organization, on the occasion of 25 years of successful work.

Among award winners is the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia which has received Appreciation for outstanding contribution to spreading the culture of quality and business excellence in Serbia and the region, which each year takes-active participation in the work of this event. Contribution to the event was given by Prof. Zoran Punoševac PhD, president of the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia, presenting a paper on the topic: NEW REQUIREMENTS OF THE STANDARD SRPS OHSAS 18001 WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO POINT 4.3.2 LEGAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS.

The importance of this award is supported by the fact that the acknowledgments received following institutions also: Center for Quality of Faculty of  Engineering Sciences from Kragujevac, Center for Quality of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Podgorica, Croatian Society of Quality Managers.
